Privacy & Cookie Policy
Tuscan Artisan Sneakers
Your privacy matters as much as the quality of our shoes. We handle your data with the same artisan care we put into every pair of PS sneakers — and here we explain exactly how.
Data Controller
Data Collected & Legal Basis
Providing your data
Data required for contractual purposes (e.g. shipping address, e-mail for order confirmation) is mandatory: without it we cannot fulfil your order. Optional data (e.g. newsletter subscription) does not affect service availability. Users are responsible for any third-party personal data they share with us.
Processing Purposes
Order management & shipping
Personal data is essential to process purchases, coordinate artisan production, organise delivery and provide after-sales support. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
Newsletter & commercial communications
By subscribing, your e-mail address is added to our mailing list to receive PSMadeinTuscany updates, news and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every e-mail. Legal basis: consent.
Contact form
By completing the contact form (name, e-mail, message), you consent to their use solely to respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: consent / legitimate interest.
Statistical analysis — Matomo (self-hosted)
We use Matomo, installed directly on our own server in Italy. Statistical data (pages visited, session duration, approximate geographic origin) is never shared with third parties and remains under our exclusive control. IP addresses are anonymised before recording. Matomo is not used for profiling or marketing purposes. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
E-commerce platform — PrestaShop
The website runs on PrestaShop (PrestaShop SA, Paris – France). PrestaShop processes data required to manage the online store (accounts, orders, catalogue). All processing takes place within the EU. — PrestaShop Privacy Policy. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
Payments — PrestaShop Checkout (PayPal)
Payments are handled via PrestaShop Checkout, powered by the PayPal (Braintree) infrastructure. Card and account data is transmitted directly to PayPal in encrypted form: PSMadeinTuscany never stores payment details. PayPal may transfer data outside the EU under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). — PayPal Privacy Policy. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
Processing methods & recipients
The Data Controller processes personal data using appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure or modification. Processing is carried out using IT systems. In addition to the Controller, data may be accessed by: authorised internal staff, couriers, hosting providers, e-commerce platforms (PrestaShop), payment processors (PayPal/Braintree), IT companies and communication agencies, all appointed as Data Processors where required. An up-to-date list is available on request at info@psmadeintuscany.com.
Cookie Policy
